The short version

If you accept cookies, Google Analytics tells me how many people visit and what they read. If you decline or ignore the banner, it never loads. There are no accounts, forms or ads here.

Who runs this

I do. I'm Sony, and this is a personal project. The easiest way to reach me is a message to @somethingwithsony on Instagram.

What Google Analytics collects

Only if you accept: the pages you view, how you found the site, your device and browser, and your rough location. It uses two cookies, _ga and _ga_7E6MJLFWB6, which last up to two years. I use this only to see how the site is doing, and I keep the data for 14 months at most. Google processes it for me and may transfer it outside the EU, including to the US. You can read how in Google's explanation.

Hosting

Vercel hosts this site. Like any web host, it handles technical details such as your IP address to deliver the page and keep it secure, whether or not you accept cookies. I rely on my legitimate interest in running the site for this. Vercel's privacy policy has the details.

Your choice

The legal basis for Analytics is your consent, and you can take it back at any time. Use the Cookies link at the bottom of any page. If you decline after accepting, the Google cookies are deleted. Your answer is saved in your browser, so I don't have to ask twice.

Your rights

You can ask me to show, correct or delete data about you, or object to how it's used. Analytics data isn't linked to your name, so I may not be able to find yours. You can also complain to CNPD, Portugal's data protection authority.

Changes

If this changes, for example when payments arrive, I'll update this page.
